Harnhill Centre  -  The Centre

Healing Services take place regularly on Wednesdays at 7.30 pm and Fridays at 10.30 am. All are welcome.

2000 years ago Jesus was healing people in body, soul and spirit wherever He went, and the bible teaches us that He commanded - and empowered - His disciples to do the same. After His death and resurrection, the early church continued this ministry, and subsequent church history shows that the healing ministry of God's Church has continued.

Today Jesus' power is still here, the command just as imperative, and the results just as exciting. The vision of the Centre is to encourage this ministry, and it seeks to do so on two fronts:-

As a resource for the Church
1 By the provision of training courses on, or relevant to, Christian Healing.
2 By responding to invitations to visit and assist in the development of the healing ministry in local church situations.
3 By making available the facilities of the Centre to church groups to come either for the day or for short stays.
As a ministry to the individual
1 Through  the holding of 2 weekly services of Christian healing throughout the year, on Wednesdays at 7.30 pm and Fridays at 10.30 am.
2 Through individual prayer ministry by appointment for those who live locally.
3 By the provision of residential accommodation for those who wish to come for a few days in quiet, caring surroundings, during which time prayer ministry is available for those who seek it.
4 Through intercessory prayer for those who cannot come to the Centre.

In 1986, the Harnhill Centre was set up to enable and encourage this ministry. The command is an imperative, the results are exciting. Based at Harnhill Manor in the heart of the Cotswolds, about 3 miles from Cirencester, the Centre has accommodation for 20 guests in comfortable single and twin bedded rooms, all of which are en-suite. The Centre and its large garden provide peace and tranquillity for those who visit, and the surrounding farmland and country lanes provide the opportunity for interesting walks.

The Centre is run by a Charitable Trust, consisting of clergy and lay people, and is staffed by a community of committed Christians under the leadership of the Warden/Chaplain. Although the foundation of the Centre is Anglican, the Centre is ecumenical in its approach and outlook.

Prayer ministry by appointment as well as residential ministry is available, and the Centre is also available to be booked by churches or groups. There is also the Barn Conference Centre available for hire that seats up to 180. Please contact the office.

The Centre is a member of the Fellowship of Christ the Healer.
